Recycling Center Update

The Wyandot County Recycling Center is making a few changes in our operating procedures.

Recycle #5 in 2025! The Wyandot County Recycling Center is excited to announce that you can start recycling #5 plastic containers. Some of the most common food items that come in #5 plastic tubs include: yogurt, butter, cottage cheese, specialty dips, whipped topping, and individually portioned pudding/fruit cups. We now offer full weekend recycling in several villages in Wyandot County. You can find the dates and locations under Recycling Information. You can also follow us on Facebook to get the latest recycling updates and reminders about weekend recycling in the villages.
The recycling center drive-thru normal operating hours are from 8am to 4:30pm. We now take aluminum cans for buy back and electronics on Saturdays from 8am to 10:30am and Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Please call 419-396-3541 for the current aluminum cans rates.
The recycling center business office is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. We can also be reached at 419-396-3541 to answer any questions or concerns.
